School year time means Renew Time! We were off to a great start last week and were challenged by II Timothy. God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (Not sure how much of a sound mind you can have after a cocoberry flip though). :)

Wow! 1/12 we will share just how amazing our Lord Jesus is. He is truly awesome. Hope to see ya this coming Monday. And, just to see who is reading our blog, the first person to mention the word “fantastic” will be treated to the beverage of their choice at Java J’s. Fantastic being another description of Jesus. This will be affective until someone claims the prize!

So here I sit. Everyone has just left Java J’s and I thought I’d type a few before I pack up and head for good ole Watauga.
First, Renew will be on Christmas break until January 5th when we will start back up. Please check back for more posts concerning our topic on the 5th (if I feel like doing it over my break) :)
Just a note to all our group. Love you with all my heart. Have a wonderful Christ filled Christmas. Realize that our God is a God of love, (as we talked about tonight). Our God of love became one of us, paid for our sins, died on a cross, and rose from the dead. His heart of love offers us forgivness just for the asking. Wow…what love. And our awesome God says, “and the reason is YOU!”
